Malaysian Minister Sues Indonesian maids rape allegation 
rejected for allegedly raping maids from Indonesia, Minister of Information, Communication, and Culture of Malaysia, Datuk Rais Yatim file a lawsuit to court. Blogger Abdul Muttalib Mohammed Daud became sole defendant. He was sued for publishing news on his blog, Sabahkini.
According to Rais, Abdul Muttalib has published four defamation news on its website that.The articles are loaded at 1, 3, 5, and 7 January, complete with photos.
Rais said, the contents of the article is very dangerous, plaintiff alleges adultery and immoral conduct. In the lawsuit, Rais even mention, the articles in Sabahkini mention he was able to make the former Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi to 'stooge' to cover up that immoral behavior.
In a lawsuit filed by February 10, 2011 that, Rais said thanks to the article, he dicemplungkan in a public scandal, shame, and humiliation. He also suffered great embarrassment, distress, and loss. Rais asked a judge to force the defendant to remove the defamatory articles from the site http://sabahkini.net/v1.
In court yesterday, a high court judge Amelia Tee Hong Geok Abdullah set the hearing will be held next May 6, after meeting with lawyers Rais, Norhani Nordin, in the courtroom."Defendants have the right to 20 days to file a defense," said Norhani, such as appeared in The Star, Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
This case stems from the leak investigation documents Migrant Care, institution-rights of Indonesian migrant workers. This organization disclose the results of investigation of cases of rape allegedly committed one of the Malaysian minister against an Indonesian migrant worker in 2007.
The case began after one of the crowded news site Malaysia, Harakah Daily, launch leaked document from WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks reportedly referring to the blog Ahirudin Attan aka Rocky Bru, Malaysian blogger who is also former Chief Editor of The Malaysian Mail.
Minister Rais Yatim name was mentioned in a number of blogs and news pages as an alternative to Malaysia's rape perpetrator. Spread the news media, among others, Asian Sentinel and Free Malaysia Today. However, the Minister Rais Yatim strongly denied the accusation.
