Holy Rays Somali pirates held hostage

JAKARTA - MICOM: Liberation 20 WNI crew (ABK) Holy Light Somali pirates held hostage, 16 March, apparently still far from the truth. David Coal as Deputy President Director of PT Samudera Indonesia (PT SI), which has said the release of hostages vessels usually take 60 to 150 days.

"In 2010, the release of hostages usually takes up to 150 days, the fastest of 60 days. Currently, only 27 days after the Holy Light Ship hijacked in Somali waters," David said at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday (11 / 4).

David assured the public there was no record of killed or injured during the hostage taking no casualties during the fighting. David even optimistic inventory crew food and beverages will continue to be supplied by the pirates.

However, David admitted all contact with the crew is under the control of the pirates. He also reminded the negotiation process is time consuming and can change at any time.
